Norma Pauline Driscoll was born in 1927, Great Falls Montana. She earned a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Oregon, 1954. She married Robert Clymer Gilmore, a fellow art student in 1952. She and her husband were heavily influenced by Cézanne, Picasso, Poussin, and classical thought. Norma studied under Jack Wilkinson and Dave McCosh. She has created well over a thousand paintings and other works over more than seven decades of painting.
